FAQ
Astra 220V questions
Can't find your answer? Ask us directly — we're happy to help.
Is Astra 220V rainproof?
Astra 220V is listed without a rainproof rating, so use it in indoor or fully protected boxes. For outdoor cabinets choose Astra DC or Astra Waterproof with an SMPS.
Can I connect 12V LED modules directly to 220V mains?
No. 12V DC products (2W Samsung, Vega, Apollo, Titan Eco, Mini, Astra DC and Astra Waterproof) must always run through a 12V SMPS. Connecting them to 220V destroys them instantly and is a fire and shock risk. Only Ultra 220V, Nebula Square and Astra 220V are made for direct mains.
