Spacing follows depth
The deeper the box, the further light spreads before it hits the face — so modules can sit further apart. Shallow boxes need tighter spacing to avoid hot spots.

Enter a glow sign board or light box size to get the module count, spacing and power supplies — then send the plan to us on WhatsApp for a quote.
Estimates only. Spacing starts at box depth × brightness factor (1.8 / 1.5 / 1.2), limited to 60–250 mm, with modules spread evenly and half a space at each edge. SMPS capacity = 12V × rated current, loaded to 80%. Direct-220V modules need no SMPS. Always power a test layout before sealing the box.

We size power supplies at 80% of their rated output. A 31.6A StellarX (about 380W at 12V) carries about 300W, leaving headroom for heat, ageing and voltage dips.
Letters, logos and cut-outs need a custom layout. Send the artwork and size on WhatsApp and we'll suggest the module count and power.
FAQ
Keep each supply at about 80% of its rating. A 31.6A supply such as StellarX, Comet or Lunar (about 380W at 12V) carries around 300W — roughly 200 Apollo modules (1.5W) or 165 Vega modules (1.8W). The sign calculator works it out for any board.
A good starting point is about 1.5 times the depth of the box — roughly 150 mm in a 100 mm (4 in) deep box. Shallow boxes need tighter spacing to avoid hot spots. Always test on a panel before sealing.
No. 12V DC products (2W Samsung, Vega, Apollo, Titan Eco, Mini, Astra DC and Astra Waterproof) must always run through a 12V SMPS. Connecting them to 220V destroys them instantly and is a fire and shock risk. Only Ultra 220V, Nebula Square and Astra 220V are made for direct mains.
Yes. Send a photo or PDF of your artwork with the board size on WhatsApp and we'll suggest the module, spacing and power supply. For light boxes you can also use the online sign calculator.
